Havel 90 USA is a national umbrella platform bringing
together institutions, universities, cultural organizations,
and communities across the United States in 2026.
The platform serves as a shared space to present and connect programs inspired by Václav Havel’s life, work, and values.

Dissent Lab
A podcast series by the Vaclav Havel Center featuring contemporary dissidents from around the world—modern-day voices of courage who have faced imprisonment, exile, and persecution—continuing Václav Havel’s legacy and exploring the urgent challenges facing democracy today.
Disturbing the Peace Award
10th Anniversary (2016–2026) — Honoring writers at risk who embody Václav Havel’s commitment to human rights, recognizing courageous voices who have faced persecution for defending freedom of expression.
Youth in Truth
An educational initiative developed with Park Lane International School (Prague) and international partners, engaging students and young leaders in discussions on democracy, responsibility, and civic life, with selected participants invited to New York to develop a TEDx-style talk.
Rehearsal for Truth
An international theatre festival showcasing bold contemporary works from Central and Eastern Europe, inspired by Václav Havel’s legacy and exploring theatre as a force for social and political reflection.
